Stalls at our Disney Christmas

This Christmas, not only are we blessed with a huge array of wonderful performers, but we also have a delightful amount of stalls selling some absolutely fabulous things!

Lush Cosmetics will be there selling their new range of Make Up and providing our guests with beautiful Make Overs! They also have a special offer exclusive to Secrets of the Boudoir Burlesque. Anyone attending our Disney Christmas can email Lush and order goodies for collection at our show, if you quote code 'SOBB' they will even give you a FREE GOODY BAG, so what are you waiting for? One of our favourite stalls, Von Harlots will also be there on the night of the show selling a range of unique hand-crafted products including decorative cushions, fabulous fascinators and naughty nipple tassels, as well as a new range of Christmas Decorations. Von Harlot is a favourite costume-maker of Secrets' Founder and Owner: Deadly Nightshade because she makes "lovingly hand-crafted items that are beautifully unique, as well as long-lasting and durable."

We would also like to introduce a number of new stalls to you this Christmas, the first of which is Magnificently Macabre, makers of one-off unique hair accessories, headpieces, jewellery and burlesque pasties. Magnificently Macabre can cater to all styles from rockabilly and pin-up to gothic and lolita and  they also make custom bespoke pieces from creepily cute zombie headbands to decadent gothic miniature hats and burlesque fascinators. "I started modelling in April 2011 under the name "Madame Zara" and found that hair accessories I wanted for shoots were not readily available. The concepts and ideas I had in my head were nothing like the accessories I could buy, and so I turned to making my own for shoots. I then found that people showed interest and commented on them and so I decided to share my designs with others, and that's when "Magnificently Macabre- by Madame " was born."

Our next stall is 'Alternative Wireworks' and they make bespoke crystal and wirework pieces including masks, crowns, hats and chokers. Couture designs made to order: Wedding, prom, masquerade, carnival, theatre, alternative, festival, faery, mermaid, gothic. Each piece is totally individual and Alternative Wireworks are also making some pieces exclusively for our show, as well as some little stocking fillers and burlesque charms. They are also very kindly donating a custom-made cuff up to the value of £50 to our raffle, so make sure you purchase your tickets on the night of the show to be in with a chance of winning!

Last up, we have new stall 'Totty Lime Juice' providing exotic hair candy for sassy sirens. Each of their pieces is a hand made one off. Beautifully colourful hair pieces, unusual and luscious. They are donating a choice of two hair pieces to our raffle as well!

Supernova 2

Supernova is BACK and it is BIGGER and BETTER than ever!

Secrets are proud to announce that we are taking over The Leadmill on Saturday 26th January 2013 and filling it full of glamour and decadence.

We can GUARANTEE cabaret style seating for up to 200 people as well as standing space for those who prefer not to sit. We also guarantee that there will be NO over-crowding.

MILLIE DOLLAR

Millie has devoted her life to professional Burlesque, from performing and modeling to making costumes, powder puff props and feather fans for herself and other performers.

Spending her former years performing all over England and Ireland, she decided to go international. Since then she’s been a regular guest in Paris, San Tropz, Milan and Los Angeles.

With her frantic bump and grind dance moves and showgirl costumes, she is bringing the style of Las Vegas Grind to the Secrets of the Boudoir Burlesque stage this January...

DOMINO BARBEAU

An enigmatic international artist originally from Vancouver, now based in the UK, Domino has headlined stages across the globe, performing in Canada, Italy, USA, Switzerland, Germany, Ireland, Austria and the United Kingdom. With an illustrious and exciting background in the performing arts, Domino draws on all her passion for the exotic and the unusual, theatrics and Olde-world glamour.

VELMA VON BON BON

Velma Von Bon Bon bursts onto the stage with confidence, fresh and unique ideas and the most spectacular costumes. She is currently setting tongues wagging all over the country with her memorable routines, starting out on the stage of The Martini Lounge, and travelling all over England, Velma has performed at shows such as The Slippery Belle and The Wet Spot and is becoming a very high rising star.

HAVANA HURRICANE

This pint sized platinum blonde bombshell is guaranteed to cause a stir wherever she goes; true to her name Miss Hurricane is like a whirlwind on the stage. A true bump n' grind beauty Havana aims to tease, to entertain and to leave the audience all shook up.

DEADLY NIGHTSHADE

Secrets of the Boudoir Burlesque's very own founder and performer, Deadly Nightshade took to the stage in 2007. An established Performer, Promoter, Pin up Model and Burlesque Teacher, “Deadly Nightshade is one of the the brightest stars in the starry firmament of the cabaret and vaudeville sky" and has appeared on stages up and down the country from London to Preston. Star of many Burlesque documentaries and publications, you can catch Deadly doing a guest performance on Channel 4's 'Come Dine With Me' in February 2013.

EVIE FARRAH

Evie is Secrets of the Boudoir Burlesque's most treasured resident performer. With modern influences and a booty that shakes to all of the right beats, Evie is a contemporary performer who ooozes with the glamour and sex appeal of Hollywood starlets from bygone era's. Elaborate hand-made props and stunning costumes combined with all the right moves and a thousand yard stare make Evie Farrah a dream to watch.

RAVEN NOIR

Raven is a Graduate of the Secrets of the Boudoir Burlesque Course and you could say, she is a star pupil. Having set foot on the stage for the first time at the beginning of 2012, Raven has already been a part of some of Britain's most prestigious shows, performing in places such as Madame Jojo's in London. Fast becoming a big name on the British Burlesque scene, Raven is going places and is soon to become an international starlet.

Secrets' very own 'man toy' Mr Duke O'Growl will be our dashing Compere for the evening. Described as having “a voice to bewilder” by Sheffield Music Scene Magazine, Duke can boast that he has sang for Royalty, including Princes William and Harry, amongst his recent achievements.  Classy, soulful and handsome with a cheeky charm that has made him a Secrets favourite and regular.  He will growl into a microphone for your pleasure all night long...

In celebration of Christmas, Secrets of the Boudoir Burlesque have teamed up with one of our stallholders: Lush, to offer some super prizes to you this week: We have lots of fabulous prizes from Lush Cosmetics to give away to two lucky ticket buyers!

All you need to do is purchase your admission to our Disney Christmas show between 5.00pm on the 12/11/2012 and 5.00pm on Friday 16/11/2012 to be in with a chance of winning!

A Disney Christmas

It's that time of year again, nutmeg, pine trees and snow...(or in our case boobies, glitter and feather fans)...

We would like to invite you to come and get festive with us at 'A Disney Christmas' our spectacular Christmas event which is filled to the frosty brim with gorgeous performers and festive stalls.

What better way to celebrate than with a Disney theme? Come and see Sleeping Beauty, Malificent, Tinkerbell, Alice in Wonderland, Pocahontas, Minnie Mouse and Snow White...plus many, many more!
