Razorblade Mermaid Jewellery was created in 2007 by Ky Wheeler and is based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, UK

There are so many things that inspire Razorblade Mermaid’s designs and influence the creations, including tattoos, birds, horror, skulls, burlesque, Mexican Day of the Dead and vintage fashion and of course nautical styles and the seaside…to name but a few!

There’s a whole load going on with Razorblade Mermaid! Stock has a fast turnover and there are always new designs in the pipeline and being created. Products include a huge selection of necklaces, earrings, brooches and rings and range from stunning vintage style solid glass fruit necklaces and large statement piece necklaces in a kitsch retro style, beautiful cameo’s hanging on glass pearls, to skulls, zombies and bloody meat cleaver necklaces!

Razorblade Mermaid attracts a wide and varied target audience and doesn’t have customers with just one particular style, taste or appearance. This could be from Psychobilly girls, girly students, 50s style burlesque performers or heavily tattooed rollergirls. Alongside selling directly from the website, you can always find her at various trade stalls at different events from vintage fashion fairs, roller derby events, hot rod and custom car events, tattoo conventions and burlesque shows. All shows and trade events are listed on the ‘Upcoming Events and Shows’ section at www.razorblademermaid.co.uk.

Won in our 'Secrets of the Boud'Yargggh! Burlesque raffle on 4/3/2012
Next event for Razorblade Mermaid as well as the Secrets of the Burlesque will be the Sheffield Vintage Fair, to be held at the Town Hall in Sheffield, 11am-5pm.

Go check out the flame haired mermaid!
