We hope our Grotto warmed your cockles!

Thank you to all who attended our Christmas Grotto last night!

It was lovely to see you all inside our Grotto looking glamorous, keeping warm and having fun!

We hope you got a chance to browse our superb stalls: Mad Hatters, Imogen's Imagination, The Dollhouse and the Vintage Salon, before settling down to watch some fabulous burlesque, dance, striptease and cabaret!

Amidst the tables and the tinsel we saw a strange and enchanted dwarf who soon turned our attentions to the frosty Ice Queen Scarlett D'Lyte!  During her mystical routine, Scarlett transformed our venue into the magical land of Narnia.  Creative, imaginative, beautiful and captivating, a personal favourite of mine, this performance truly chilled us, thrilled us and thrust us directly into a winter wonderland!

We also had an amazing routine from the oh-so-beautiful Starla Bright who gave us a sweet and sexy treat in the form of a 'Candy Cane Christmas!  Equipped with a gigantic candy cane Starla took to the stage, tantalised and teased us with her cute dancing and her cheeky striptease!

Our Grotto would not be complete without a present from Santa and this present was delivered in the form of the ever-so-sexy Evie Farrah!  She came out of her Barbie box and showed us all what a big 'Ego' she had by shaking her thang and working us all into a sweat!  Evie later returned as our mean green Grinch and wreaked havoc on our stage, tearing up presents from underneath our Christmas tree!  You're a mean one Mrs. Grinch!

The Ashay Dance Troupe were a wonder to watch as they shimmied to 'Santa Baby' with grace and elegance like no other troupe we know!

Duke O'Growl remained as gorgeous as ever as he made a present of himself and his singing talent to Deadly Nightshade, Knickerbockerglory and Cherry Du Bois!  Knickerbockerglory got the pleasure of singing with The Duke earlier in the evening when the delicious duo gave us a wonderful rendition of 'Mommy Kissing Santa Claus' to get us in the Christmas mood!

Cherry Du Bois and Scarlet Noir pointed out that 'Baby it's Cold Outside' and we should all come and warm ourselves, getting hot under the collar by watching Christmas twins frolic around our stage!

How can we forget our Marylin-esque beauty Sian de Lier who provided us with a naughty routine as she tore into a present of 'Red Shoes', danced around our stage uncontrollably and stripped down to her tassles!  She also returned to tease us as 'Jessica Snow Rabbit' - a vision in white with the voice of an angel!  Sian later came on stage to wish us all a 'Merry Little Christmas' before we went home to our warm beds!

And what 'Secrets' night would be complete without our delicious compere in fishnets and heels...the dashing Mr. Warren Peace?!  Warren made us laugh as he warmed our winter hearts with his witty banter and cabaret crooning!  A true credit to our shows!

Let us not forget to give a huge thank you to Rachael Parkes and Anwar Suliman, our photographers for the evening, and a huge round of applause to our venue and to Tam and Taz for putting up with me and my requests and my urge to hang Christmas decorations in the highest of places!  Let out a massive cheer for our D.J Mr. Vince Spitfire who provides us with the music for our events and has to deal with many strange music formats!

If you have any photographs or videos from our event, please add them to Facebook or send them to deadlynightshade@secretsoftheboudoirburlesque.com.  Our official photographs and videos will be up soon!

Merry Christmas everyone and a Happy New Year!

You can come and visit 'Secrets of the Boudoir Burlesque' once again on Friday the 10th of December as we will make a cameo at Northern Oak's Album Launch party and Masquerade Ball taking place at The Corporation, Sheffield.  Ivy Wilde and Depravity Jane will be the burlesque performers for the evening.  Please check out: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/event.php?eid=102572353140330 for more information.

Much love and Christmas cheer,

The ‘Secrets of the Boudoir Burlesque Falls in Love’ performer auction

In our 5th September show 2010 we are offering you, our beautiful audience, THE exclusive chance to bid on our performers for the opportunity to enjoy a date with them during our 5 hour show!

This fun auction will take place throughout the night and the man with the gavel and fishnet tights: the dashing, the daring, the dangerous Mr Warren Peace, will auction off a performer after each stunning act!

The money from the auction will then be put into a pot on stage and shared out between our ravenous performers so that they can buy food rations for the week, because all of their money will have been spent on rhinestone shoes and steel-boned corsets for the show. Sometimes our performers have to go barefoot in order to provide you with the finest stage costumes they can find or make! Being a Burlesque performer doesn’t come cheap don’t you know! So show a Burlesque performer that you care this September and give a little, it says a lot.

So what can you expect from your date with a SotBB performer? Well, not only will each performer be crafting their own little personal surprise or ‘thank you’ gift for the highest bidder, but you will then get to spend a full 10 minutes with your performer of choice in our ‘love booth’.

The ‘love booth’ will consist of flowers, candles, scatter cushions and candy and as a part of your fun ‘date’ you will get to enjoy a free glass of bubbly and some free chocolates courtesy of SotBB. You will also have your own personal waitress who will show you to your ‘booth’, seat you with your performer of choice and serve you your bubbly and choccies! It is then up to you to woo your date for a whole 10 minutes…or to simply just chat to them about the show…or the weather…or whatever you can think of…

Remember this is a fun date so please be respectful to our performers…unfortunately this means no inappropriate touching (so put Duke O’Growl down damn you!!)

…unless otherwise encouraged of course…

Please remember, Secrets of the Boudoir Burlesque performers are not toys, although they are just for Christmas (or in this case, the 5th September) and not for life!

Much love,
Secrets of the Boudoir Burlesque.x
