Secrets of the Boudoir Burlesque Supernova

Secrets of the Boudoir Burlesque returns to The Leadmill this July with our premium sell-out Burlesque and Variety Show, ‘Supernova’.

We have V.I.P tables, cabaret tables and theatre style seating for that little extra touch of luxury, guaranteeing everyone in the audience a seat. In addition, anyone who purchases a ticket to the show will gain FREE ENTRY into The Leadmill club night after our Supernova event finishes.

 Our premium show takes place on Saturday the 12th July and has a stellar line-up full of the brightest stars in the Burlesque sky.

STARRING: 

ELIZA DELITE

Eliza DeLite has sky-rocketed since she first hit the stage in 2008. In 2012 she was crowned ‘Best British Female’ at the World Burlesque Games and has since gone on to perform internationally, including at high profile shows in Las Vegas, Milan, Stockholm, Rome, Switzerland, Istanbul and Berlin. She has established herself as one of the most in-demand performers on the UK circuit, headlining respectable shows across the country and overseas! Her classic Hollywood looks combined with stunning costumes and breathtaking choreography mean that Eliza is a firm favourite with lovers of classic and neo burlesque alike.

AL RUDGE

Al Rudge is one of the most original and bizarre acts to invade the magic and variety scene. His fast paced, razor wit and whirlwind approach to comedy magic has made him a hit. Al has played clubs, burlesque balls, parties, the streets and private functions from London to New York and never fails to leave the audience amazed and laughing. Whether it is, stand up, television or corporate, Al never fails to keep the audience laughing and applauding all the way. Al has opened for the likes of: Alan Carr, Lenny Henry, Jo Brand, Slade, Frost, Rolf Harris, Archie Kelly, John Hegley, Garry Delaney and many more familiar names of television and music.

SATINE DI MONTE 

(&Special Guest ANIMUS)

Satine Di Monte is a unique Burlesque Performer. Known for her tantalizing and dazzling acts with amazing costumes and choreography, Satine will certainly whisk you away into the wonderful world of Burlesque. Satine Di Monte has been performing since July 09 at various Burlesque revues shows, dance weekenders and private parties. 2010 saw Satine in the ‘UK’s Top 7 Best New Burlesque performers’ in both Delicious, Ministry of Burlesque and Madame JoJo’s competitons, and she was also in SKY 1′s ‘Got to Dance’ as well as ‘Britain’s Got Talent’!

RAVEN NOIR 

Raven Noir is a deliciously dark showgirl with a hint of gothic elegance, once described as the embodiment of old New Orleans. After taking to the stage in 2012 she quickly became a well known and popular performer on the burlesque circuit finally becoming international in 2014 when she undertook a 44 show engagement in Australia before becoming a hit in Paris. Raven prides herself on top class visually stunning costumes working closely with some of the best costumiers in the business. After appearing on National television, as well as winning numerous awards Raven Noir continues to wow audiences both nationally and internationally.

SIR MIDNIGHT BLUES 

A Secrets of the Boudoir Burlesque regular, Personal Trainer, Sir Midnight Blues brings something a little bit different to the burlesque and variety scenes. Sir Midnight Blues shows us how boylesque and burlesque should be done. With his mix of strip tease and pole dance and a body to die for, he is a unique King of boylesque.

DEADLY NIGHTSHADE

Secrets of the Boudoir Burlesque’s very own Founder and Performer, Deadly Nightshade, took to the stage in 2007. An established Performer, Promoter, Pin up Model and Burlesque Tutor, Deadly has appeared on stages up and down the country for the past six years. Star of many Burlesque documentaries and publications, Deadly has featured in ‘Burlesque Bible’ as a recommended Burlesque Tutor, and she has also appeared on the TV with the BBC and Channel 4.

PENNY FEATHERS

Penny Feathers is burlesque and cabaret dancer with over 5 years experience on the burlesque scene. Penny’s acts vary from comedy to cute cheesecake and she brings her bubbly and cheeky personality onto the stage with her dynamic and energetic performances. Compered by:

Boylesque Comes to Secrets of the Boudoir Burlesque!

Ladies and gentlemen,

We will be showcasing our FIST EVER BOYLESQUE ACT this Sunday (the 5th of June) at Secrets of the Boudoir Burlesque Does Musicals!  The quirky Mr. Doc Le Roc will be landing 'Flash, Bang Wallop' onto our stage as he pays tribute to the musical 'Half A Sixpence' in an act especially designed for Secrets.  He will later then evolve into 'The Phantom of the Opera' and hold us all captive under his cloak with a cheeky wink and a satirical smile!

From Hull, UK, Doc began performing in October 2010 as a favour to a friend, he was asked to compare a burlesque show in his hometown and decided to throw some boylesque in there for good measure too!  He hasn't looked back since and loves performing everywhere and anywhere he can!

Doc takes a tongue in cheek approach to burlesque, he likes to throw in plenty of entertainment, amusement and comedy and says we shouldn't take ourselves too seriously when performing.  During our show on Sunday he will be performing a theatrical piece and a high energy striptease and we simply just can't wait!

We asked Doc what he was looking forward to the most about performing at SotBB on Sunday and he said,


"Trying something a little different.  I'm using more props and doing less striptease with my new routine (Half 
A Sixpence), so it's something new for me".


And what is Doc's favourite musical?


"I'm a Rocky Horror kind of guy" he replies.

Burlesque and Tenacious D!

Secrets of the Boudoir Burlesque are very excited to be involved with something a little different this Summer!

We have kindly been asked to provide a variety show for 'Tribute - The Greatest and Best Tenacious D Tribute Band in the World' on the 22nd of May!

We are very much looking forward to this event and we promise there will be fire, magic, dancing, comedy, a bed of nails&a few other little surprises!  And this is all before the main show even starts!

This will be a fantastic event packed to the brim with theatrics and very talented musicians who will bring the Tenacious D story to life right in front of your eyes, live on the stage!

So much to celebrate at Secrets of the Boudoir Burlesque this Sunday!

In celebration of the Oscars last Sunday, Secrets of the Boudoir Burlesque is taking you to the movies this Sunday!  


The 83rd Academy Awards took place on February 27, 2011 at Hollywood's Kodak Theatre, and our 3 year Anniversary takes place on March 6th, 2011 at West Street Live in urm...well...Sheffield.

Allow us to plunge you into a world of Burlesque-Movie-Madness as you walk down our red carpet and into the decadent world of 'Secrets of the Boudoir Burlesque Goes to the Movies' this Sunday!

We will be dishing out FREE candy upon arrival and when our feature begins, we will be selling boxes of popcorn!

Doors open at 7.00pm and once inside our venue, we suggest you take a walk on over to 'The Vintage Salon' and treat yourselves to a Hollywood manicure, hairstyle, or even a complete vintage make-over!  There will plenty of time for you to get a good vintage pampering before our show begins at 8.00pm!  To avoid disappointment, why not book into the salon in advance by emailing info@lekeuxevents.co.uk, or calling 01788 562374!

Not only are we celebrating THREE WHOLE years of Secrets of the Boudoir Burlesque, which began in March 2008, but Sunday's show also sees Duke O'Growl celebrating his first birthday with us!  It was one whole year ago that Duke O'Growl was born onto the cabaret scene, starting out at our show back in March 2010!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY DUKE AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY US!

Welcome to our brand new burlesque blog!

Burlesque, for those of you who are unsure, is a concept relating to 1940’s and 1950’s glamour, it is defined as a variety show which incorporates a blend of satire, striptease, broad comedy and performance art to present an “upside down style” of entertainment.

The art of burlesque is becoming much more popular and there are now more various venues and establishments out there which promote burlesque.

Secrets of the Boudoir Burlesque aims to bring burlesque to the masses! We want those of you who have never experienced a burlesque show before to come along to our affordable nights and experience a variety of delights in a comfortable, fun, friendly atmosphere!
