| Secrets of the Boudoir Burlesque are proud to be hosting a one-off, 90 minute Fandance skills workshop with Missy Malone, covering the basics and useful tips for beginners and the experienced performer alike. Missy Malone has 8 years professional experience performing Fandance so this is a unique opportunity to learn from one of the best in the business in a relaxed and fun environment. This is not a burlesque stripping workshop and will not include tassel-twirling or nudity.  The workshop will also include a Q&A with Missy. Boys also welcome at these workshops but you'll be expected to take part – no observers! Fans will be provided but if you have your own set, please bring them along! Book early, as there are only limited places in each class. Fan Dancing Workshop
On Tuesday the 12th of June 2012...two days after Secrets of the Boudoir Burlesque Raises the Temperature, we are holding a Fan Dancing Workshop with the fabulous Selina Favelle.
Selina will be travelling all the way from Germany to grace the UK with her presence for ONE WEEK ONLY and we have snapped her up to not only perform at 'Raises the Temperature', but to teach you all how to fan dance too!
Selina began performing six years ago when she attended an amateur burlesque competition in her home town of Sheffield, here she met Secrets of the Boudoir Burlesque, or as she puts it "I met a large group of ladies and gentlemen who loved the burlesque world and I wanted to continue performing with them, and for them." Selina became a Secrets regular and a hot little star on the burlesque circuit alongside performing at Spearmint Rhinos Gentleman's Club using props such as large feather fans and gloves, alongside pole work which Selina says was "a great success!"
Selina hung up her high heels in 2008 when she joined the Army and worked in Afghanistan as a Medic, she is currently now an 'Army Wife' living in Germany and is at the centre of 'Betty's Holding out for a Hero Charity Calendar' which is a pin-up calendar that aims to raise money for Help For Heroes.
Having performed all across the UK, Germany and France, no one is better equipped than Selina to teach the fine art of Fan Dancing. Don't believe us? Then come and watch her perform at Secrets...Raises the Temperature on June 10th 2012 in Sheffield...
